Sound Bites
These sound bites are short interviews recorded with members of the HCI community at various CHI conferences. The interviewees were asked to respond to one or more questions regarding the future of HCI.
This first set of sound bites were recorded during the ACM’s CHI conference held in Hamburg in April 2023. They were recorded and edited by Leon Reicherts with help from Ava Scott and Katherine Wang who were all studying for a PhD at UCL in the UK.
This second set of talking head videos are casual interviews recorded with members of the community as they walked through ACM's CHI conference held in Montreal in May 2018. The interviewees were asked to respond to one or more questions regarding the future of HCI. They were collected and edited by Vikram Mehta who is a research engineer at The Open University in the UK.
This third set of sound bites videos were all recorded in situ during the ACM's CHI conference held in Toronto in May 2014. The interviewees were asked to respond to one or more questions regarding the future of HCI. They were collected and edited by Mara Balestrini who was doing a PhD at UCL in the UK.
This last set of sound bites videos were all recorded in situ during the ACM's CHI conference held in Vancouver in May 2011. Hence, the lovely backdrops and occasional distraction! They were collected and edited by Nadia Pantidi, who was finishing off her PhD dissertation at The Open University, UK.
